Nintendo finally killed off the Wii U [and 3DS’] online last month and successor, community created service has taken its place – arise Sir Pretendo

For some reason – maybe because I’ve been overdosing on Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom I thought I’d revive my Wii Us (yes, I bought a black and a white one, no I’m not proud, yes, one hasn’t been touched in 5 years) and play something already.

And so I loaded up Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze – starting again, wanting to 100% it, probably won’t. Truly a classic that doesn’t get enough recognition.

But it’s made me want to list out the games I want. So here is my wishlist, some new, some repurchased, but all “needed”

1. Yoshi’s Woolly World – Switch version never materalised so I need to repurchase it on disc (even though I have the download version of it already)
2. Zombi U – the other consoles versions don’t hold a candle up to the Wii U original
3. Mass Effect 3 – I had fun playing this through on PC but I wanna see if there are extras for the Wii U, however small
4. Wii U Pro Controller – The White one specifically. Probably the nicest feeling controller ever made, I already have the black one but I want to compliment my White Wii U. So many fakes out there, so many have their colours fade, but I want a nice, pristine ting-a-ling
5. Zelda Wind Waker Special Edition – I want a physical copy and I want that fugging Ganon
6. Zelda Breath of the Wild – how did this hold up on the Wii U? I need to find out
7. New Super Luigi U – that green case needs to be in the collection already

There’s many, many more but a solid list to start us all off.
